Logo Upload
Corporate identity plays an important role. The Vodia PBX supports an easy way to load the clients logo into the system. The logo is used in the web interface and on VoIP phones that support this kind of branding.
The logo is used in light and dark environments. Most browsers support light and dark mode. Depending on the VoIP phone, a light or dark background is expected on the phone to look good. The light mode logo is the most common logo. It would be use on a printer with white paper. The dark mode logo can be a problem because black ink would become almost invisible when used on a dark background. As more and more websites provide dark and light mode, both logo types are becoming available.
The system needs to generate content for the desktop phones because of a large variety of resolutions and formats. Because of this, a logo in vector format (SVG) works best. If not available, a PNG with transparency can also serve the needs if the resolution is resonably high.
Having a good logo will improve the customers experience on the quality of the service. It is well spent time to find the right material for the logo. Try to avoid pulling a random logo from the customers web site because they are often already scaled down and don't provide transparency information.
Generate images from SVG
The dialog in the form is used to upload the dark and light mode logo that should be in SVG format. The system will also accept PNG images.
The system will generate the neccessary images for various VoIP phones from the logos. A preview shows an approximation on how the logo will look like on a VoIP phone screen. The background type can be a solid color or a background image. The color needs to be entered in HTML color format (RRGGBB
). The background image can be any image type.
By default the images age generated for all accounts. If neccessary, images can also be generated for a specific account.
In order to delete the images and use the default branding, use the reset button.
Upload separate images
Sometimes the automatically generated images are not sufficuient. In order to override the image for a spdecific resolution, select the image that needs to be changed and select the file. As with the generation of images, a specific account can be selected.
When generating images from SVG the custom uploaded image will be overwritten. Use the reset button to delete the uploaded image.
