Tenant Branding & Logo Upload

Corporate identity plays an important role. Each tenant can carry its own branding across the admin interface, the user portal and the provisioned desk phones. A tenant either inherits the system branding or overrides it with its own.

Open the page from the tenant admin menu under Appearance. It is organized into three tabs:

Per-tenant accent colour, favicon and login/logout background are new in version 70 and are configured on the Branding tab. The user-portal home screen can also be replaced from a guided template — see Custom User Portal Home Screen.

Choosing good logo material​

The logo is used in both light and dark environments. Most browsers — and many desk phones — support light and dark modes, and each looks best against the background it was designed for. The light-mode logo is the most common (it is what you would print on white paper); the dark-mode logo matters because black ink becomes nearly invisible on a dark background.

Because desk phones come in a wide variety of resolutions and formats, the system generates the phone images from your source logo. A vector (SVG) logo works best. If SVG is not available, a high-resolution PNG with transparency can also work.

tip

A good logo noticeably improves how customers perceive the service — it is time well spent to find the right material. Avoid pulling a random logo from the customer's website; those are often already scaled down and lack transparency.

Branding tab​

This tab controls the tenant's core branding. Logos and favicon apply to both the admin interface and the user portal; the accent colour applies to the admin interface only. Each of the settings below is presented as its own section on the tab.

Accent colour​

Recolour the admin-interface accent (buttons, links, highlights) for this tenant. Pick a colour or use a preset swatch; a live sample button, link and badge preview the result. The tenant inherits the system accent until you set one here — use Reset to return to the inherited accent.

Logos​

Upload two SVG logos — one for light backgrounds and one for dark backgrounds. The preview panes show each on its intended background. These logos replace the Vodia logo in the header of both the admin interface and the user portal.

Favicon​

The icon shown in the browser tab. Upload an .ico, .png or .svg up to 256 KB.

Login & Logout page background​

Customize the background of the pre-login welcome screen and post-logout goodbye screen for this tenant. Choose Inherit from system (the default — the system background is used) or Customize for this tenant.

When customizing, the same options as the system page are available: None, Color, Gradient (linear or radial) or Image (JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB), plus a Frame logo and footer toggle that adds a frosted-glass panel behind the logo and footer for legibility. A live preview reflects your choices.

Hostname matters

A tenant's custom login/logout background only takes effect for visitors who reach the PBX through this tenant's own DNS address. Visitors arriving on the system hostname see the system background. Choosing Inherit removes the tenant override so the system background is served.

VoIP Phones tab​

This tab generates the branding images that are provisioned to desk phones. From a single source logo the system produces correctly sized and formatted images for a wide range of phone models (snom, Yealink, Polycom, Cisco, Grandstream, Fanvil, Avaya, Mitel, Unify and more).

  • Logos — the light- and dark-background logos default to the ones set on the Branding tab; you can override them here specifically for phones.
  • Background type — choose a solid colour (entered with the colour picker) or a background image. Separate backgrounds are configured for the light and dark themes.
  • Preview — a canvas shows an approximation of how the logo will look on a phone screen for each theme.
  • Account — by default the images are generated for all accounts in the tenant. Select Specify Account to generate them for one extension only.

Save to generate and provision the images. The PBX triggers a provisioning re-sync so phones pick up the new branding.

Specific Phone tab​

Sometimes the automatically generated image is not right for a particular model. This tab lets you override the image for one specific resolution (phone model / image slot):

  • Image ID — pick the target resolution/slot (each entry lists the vendor and pixel dimensions).
  • Account — apply to all accounts or one specific extension.
  • File — upload the replacement image; a preview is shown.

When you regenerate images from the source logo on the VoIP Phones tab, a custom-uploaded image is overwritten. Use the reset/delete control to remove an uploaded override and fall back to the generated image.

Custom Home Screen​

The user portal's home screen can be replaced with custom content — a branded welcome page, a live queue wallboard or a full analytics dashboard — either tenant-wide or for a single extension. This was previously a tab on this page; it now lives on its own page under Settings → Custom Home Screen.
