monday CRM Integration

The monday CRM integration automatically logs call activities from your Vodia PBX system to Monday.com boards. This integration captures both inbound and outbound calls, creates contact records automatically, and maintains detailed call histories with outcomes, durations and timestamps.

tip

It is important that telephone numbers in monday CRM are stored in the format that the PBX uses. For US numbers this format is a 10-digit format (for example, 6173998147). This is because telephone numbers need to match exactly in ActiveCampaign.

Requirements

  • To ensure automatic call activity association, the extension's email address must match the email address of the monday.com CRM agent or user.

  • monday CRM Account: Active Monday.com workspace with appropriate permissions

  • monday CRM API Token: API token with read/write permissions. You can find it under your Account -> Developers settings

  • monday CRM Two Boards:

    • Contacts Board: For storing contact information. Please utilize the default Contacts board provided within monday CRM.
    • Activities Board: For logging call activities. Please utilize the default Activities board provided within monday CRM.

Integration Setup

Vodia Configuration

  • In the Tenant, under Advanced->CRM Integration, go to monday CRM:

    • API Token: Paste your monday CRM API token

    • Contacts Board Name: Enter the exact name of your contacts board (e.g., "Contacts", "Customer Database").

    • Activities Board Name: Enter the exact name of your activities board (e.g., "Activities", "Call Log")

    • Save the configuration

    • For each extension user, ensure the Email Address field matches their Monday.com user email

  • Upon successful connection, calls will be displayed within your monday CRM account. Call logs are located under the 'Activities Boards,' and new contacts will be created or existing contact details updated under the 'Contacts board.'

Integration Features

  • Automatic Contact Management: Creates new contacts automatically when calls are made to/from unknown numbers.
  • Comprehensive Call Logging: Records call details including duration, outcome, start/end times, and call direction.
  • Smart Outcome Detection: Maps SIP response codes to meaningful call outcomes (Connected, No Answer, Busy, etc.).
  • monday CRM user Assignment: Associates calls with the appropriate monday CRM users/agents user when email addresses are configured at the extension level.
  • Automatically associates call activities on the 'Activities Board' with the corresponding contacts on the 'Contacts Board'.
  • Auto-Created Columns for 'Activities Board': The integration will automatically create these columns if they don't exist:
    • call_outcome (Status column): Call result with predefined options.
    • duration (Numbers column): Call duration in seconds.
