User Page Control

The User Page Control feature allows administrators to preconfigure settings for the Vodia web app and provides granular control over what users can see and access. Administrators can hide specific settings, such as mailbox configurations, to simplify the user interface or restrict access to certain features.

App Settings​

Extension to Show​

Configure which extensions users can view in the web app. Options include:

  • All extensions
  • Extensions in the user's department only
  • Extensions in the user's building only

User Will See Calls of All Users​

Enable or disable whether users can view live call status of other users in their web app.

Start New Calls​

Determine where users can initiate calls:

  • From the web app
  • From their desk phone

Content for the Home Screen​

Configure what content displays on the user's home screen:

  • Custom content
  • Rooms
  • Nothing (blank)

Play Tone After Call Disconnects​

Enable or disable an audible tone that plays when a call disconnects.

Offer Video Calls​

Turn video calling functionality on or off for users.

Offer Chat​

Enable or disable the chat feature in the web app.

Offer Fax​

Turn fax sending capability on or off.

This setting provides granular control over every setting and feature available in the Vodia web app. Administrators can:

  • Hide specific tabs
  • Hide individual fields
  • Disable features completely

This allows for a customized user experience tailored to your organization's needs and security requirements.
