Account Profile
Overview
The Account Profile section allows you to manage your personal information and security credentials within the Vodia PBX system. You can update details such as your name, location information, and various passwords used for system access.
How to Edit Your Account Profile
- Navigate to the Account Profile section in your Vodia PBX interface
- You'll see a form with various fields for your personal information and security settings
- Make changes to the desired fields
- Click the Save button to apply your changes

For security reasons, regularly update your passwords and PIN to protect your account access.
Available Profile Settings
Personal Information
- First name: Your first or given name
- Last name: Your last or family name
- Short name: A brief identifier or nickname used in the system
- Position: Your job title or role within the organization
- Department: The department or team you belong to
- Building: The building where you're located
- Room: Your office or room number
Security Credentials
- Password for the account: The password used to log into the web interface
- SIP password: The password used for your SIP phone registration
- PIN: Your personal identification number used for voice mailbox access and other features requiring authentication

All password fields are securely masked for your protection. The system never displays your existing passwords.
Best Practices
- Use strong, unique passwords for both your account and SIP passwords
- Keep your location information updated to ensure others can find you in company directories
- If you're not sure about certain fields, consult with your system administrator before making changes
