Release Notes 67.0
Core PBX
SMS. Added more SMS providers including simple GET, VoxTelesys, SparkNZ, QuestBlue and VoIP Innovations. SMS providers can now be set up for each domain separately.
Recording permissions. The permissions for recording were confusing. Now there is a setting that controls what recordings an extension can access, and another setting that controls what the extension can do with the recordings (just listen or modify and delete).
Ringtones. The administrator can now much easier upload ringtones on system and domain level through the web interface and give them names. Ring melodies can be played from the web front end before assigning them. The ringtone mapping for some phone models had been redone. The “custom” ringtone entries were dropped. If there was no ringtone assigned to a group, the PBX now uses either the internal or external ringtone.
Welcome emails. The welcome emails have been redesigned to include more information, links to the apps and updated texts.
Paging. We added a new API that can trigger the readout of arbitrary text.
Notes. Taking notes on ongoing calls and past calls was not working properly from the web frontend.
Address book. The address book backend API was redesigned, so that searches will list the entries in a sorted order even for the first page. It also includes the extensions by default now. This can be turned off on extension and domain level. This helps finding other extensions on the app, even if they are not on the current watch list.
ACD. Before adding an agent to the agent pool of an ACD during the login, the PBX needs to check if that agent is already on a pool. Rules can now assign different colors to a call, e.g. after ringing for too long. A new rule was added so that talking for too long can also change the color of a call. When the ACD automatically generates address book entries, those entries are no longer in the domain; instead they are kept in the ACD scope. This avoids filling up the domain address book with entries that are hard to understand for users.
Fanvil. Newer software for some XU models seems to use different names for the buttons. Also the location for the timezone information seems to have changed. The models X6U, X7A, X1S, X1SP and X3SP were added.
Yealink phones. The Yealink button mode could not include ‘=’ characters, now it can. We added support for SNI indication for SIP in newer Yealink firmware versions. Added more models, e.g. T26P and support for the EXP43. The “Yealink general” parameter will now drop those lines in the template that are used in the general parameter.
Auerswald. The support for the Auerswald phones was improved, e.g. by supporting speed dial and indicating ringtones.
Poly. The automatic switching to secure provisioning protocol was not working as it should.
Two-factor authentication. For the login, the administrator can require users to use a second factor to login. Currently available are Email and SMS as the second factor if the user has an email address set up and/or a cell phone number on the account. As part of this new feature, users can log in and request password resets with their email address in addition to their extension number.
Certificates. The internal indexing for the certificates was using only the common name, which could cause certain certificates to get overwritten. Especially the certificate for the Google speech services was affected. The new version uses a combined index to avoid this problem. After the upgrade, system administrators might have to use the reset button to update the certificate list. The default built-in certificate for “localhost” and the default Root CA were updated.
Easybell. Easybell is sending different formats for the called party, depending on the account type. The PBX now handles this automatically.
Inbound trunk routing. A new trunk now by default will try to find a reasonable account for inbound calls unless explicitly assigned to an inbound rule. This will make set up faster and easier.
Provisioning secrets. The PBX can now show the provisioning password and PIN in clear text from the web interface if those were automatically generated. If the administrator has assigned those values, the PBX will not show them. This avoids a common problem in new installations that phones are provisioned with unknown passwords, which makes an extra provisioning step necessary to get into the web interface of a phone.
Email. A hint was added to the web interface when email is not set up. There were some cases when the domain email did not override the system email settings. Some emails did not use the 12/24 hour format which was set in the system.
Web interface. In order not to overwhelm the front end, a maximum number of 256 MAC addresses are stored in the system now for VoIP phone discovery. Long lists of extensions are now loaded in pages to reduce the overhead for the server.
PCAP. When recording a lot of short packets, the internal flushing for the packets could drop packets. This was creating confusing PCAP files. The web interface shows now which extensions have PCAP recording turned on.
Zoho. Zoho integration completed and arrived from Zoho. Callback urls still need to be added by us for now until we make that automatic process.
Salesforce. Salesforce through REST API is done and works. The contact also pops up on PBX user portal after lookup of incoming numbers in salesforce contacts.
Conference on app. Works. But cosmetic UI to display the participants nicely yet to be added.
CDR. The system was filtering out CDR records that should not be visible to the extension from the user front end. This was causing problems with the reporting. Those records are now not deleted, instead marked as deleted by the user.
FAX. There was a problem receiving long FAX documents when there was no T.38 available.
TrueCNAM. There were cases when the lookup did not work and threw an error. For the single tenant licenses the default for the domain SPAM lookup is now “on”, while the default for the hosted licenses is “off”.
Mailbox. The detection when to read out the destination of the calls not not working well. The new version now keeps track who was called, so that the envelope information should be working well in all cases. When transferring into a mailbox, the caller-ID needed to be changed.
ACME certificates. Refreshing the domain from the system admin domain overview will trigger refreshing of the certificate as well.
Dial plan. The service flag lookup did not work properly.
Localization. The spelling of French phone numbers was improved.
SBC. The duration for MWI subscriptions is now longer, reducing the load on busy servers.
RPS. The RPS now shows the last time when the MAC address was synchronized with the database.

67.0.1
Subscriptions. It seems that the subscription duration could confuse certain VoIP phones, which resulted in loss of MWI and feature event subscriptions. Address book. Redirecting calls in the ACD and hunt group based on the address book did not work. User buttons. The user could not change the buttons from the front end because of an issue with the permissions. FlyingVoice. FlyinVoice provisioning files were added. Midnight emails. The emails that contained the graphs for the previous day did not include the system name in the subject header.
67.0.2
FAX. Play CED tone when the mailbox is in FAX mode. CDR. Fixed cdr where if the call was parked, the previous segment before the orbit segment also showed orbit account instead of the ivr account during that segment, say an acd account. Vodia IOP. Start SSH at the beginning IOP. Static IP address for Vodia IOP. Domain backup. Loading and saving the users images did not work. Web interface. When there were a lot of extensions, loading the extensions list could take a few seconds. Yealink. The post-processing Yealink files did not work properly. Now it should ignore the right lines. Call redirect. Manual call redirect for hunt group and ACD did not work (it worked for AA though).
67.0.3
Zoho. Added answer call, hangup call, hold call, resume call capabilities in the Zoho pop up. Also made a fix not to show pop-ups for extension to extension call, incoming or outgoing. Do the oauth token integration through our portal so that people don't have to register every domain with Zoho. Avaya. Added Avaya provisioning, especially buttons and reprovisioning etc. Set the right call pickup starcode, BLF incoming call for other extensions should not be like a call but a silent indication that you can pick up, and use the right side hard keys of the display for buttons. Grandstream. Added voicemail user ID for Grandstream 2130. Some VPK accounts should not start with 0. Clarify VPK, MPK and EXT for 261x models. Grandstream GAP authorization problem fixed. Both old and new ways are tried now. Mailbox. When calling mailbox display-name would be random address book entry Flyingvoice. Check for flyingvoice user-agent as well for the ################.boot file since both yealink and flyingvoice use that file. CounterPath. CounterPath changes for new API. Added service level option for CounterPath. Added service level option for CounterPath. Missed calls. Correct counting of missed calls for the user view. Emails. Make sure that HTML in emails is base64 encoded. Some email servers had problems with the ASCII-Encoding. Vodia IOP. Disabling SSH access for Vodia IOP should be working again.
67.0.4
CDR. Changed cdr behavior when attended transfer is involved. Also fixed the start time issue (don't reset start time when already set for a call) regarding the IVR ACD like ACD etc. Report the version number and the system ID in the BSON CDR record (MongoDB). FIAS. The protocol was changed slightly. LS should not contain the description, LD should, which is sent in response to LS form the other side followed by LA. SMS. Automatically select the right API for Telnyx. Web interface. Fix CSV download for notes that are not simple characters. Showing the recordings in the user front end was not always working. DTMF was not working for incoming calls from the web front end. PBX. When upgrading the PBX to a newer version that contains a new index, the index files must be rebuilt. This may take some time after the restart. Upgrades should be done after hours to avoid unnecessary down time. Poly. Added the VVX601 model. Trunks. Added SCOOTNET SIP trunk. Added sipnet.pl. More Telstra trunks. Added AT&T Dedicated Fiber SIP trunk.
67.0.5
UK number format. Improved and simplified the presentation of UK numbers. Trunk headers. The other headers for a trunk can now have multiple lines, so that different headers can be set. Vtech phones. Added support for the Vtech hotel phones S3410 and S2315. CDR start times. There were still cases when the call setup did not reach a phase where the start time stamp would be available. In such cases the PBX now takes the current time. Fanvil. The background image for Fanvil X6U had the wrong format, which was leading to an endless reloading of the image from the phone. We added a workaround for Fanvil phones that are not able to negotiate the SRTP MAC size so that the PBX would always use 80 bits. Date format. Some emails were using the wrong date format in the US region. Grandstream. For the GXP2130 there was a problem with call parking that needed to be fixed. The reregister value should be 0 for the new firmwares or it will completely not work and keep re-registering. Send re-sync according to the reboot flag for the GXP models as well. GXV3240 and related models buttons had wrong P values since they increment by 5 not 4. DP750 add account for VM to access voicemail. Yealink. More keys for T33G/P. Web interface. The #version tag can now present date, time, os and id. The preview for the ringtones was not styled well and did not show in all browsers. Fix problems with saving extension action URL. ACD. When migrating the PBX from older versions, the PBX now merges the previous lists of agents, so that it keeps the login state of those agents. Added more variables for the ActionURL connect event that contain the from- and to-headers in various formats. Missed calls. When calculating the number of missed calls, the PBX failed to count within the 24 time span correctly. Address book. The internal address book cache was not updated when toggling the extension visibility in the address book. Flyingvoice: Added more phone models. Switch username and authname per their new firmware. .boot files were not included in the release. Ringtones. In addition to the WAV ringtones, the device built-ring tone can also be used now. Action-URL. Set content-type only if not already in other headers, this makes it possible to set it explicitly from the headers input field. Zoho. Fix answer and end call when multiple calls are involved in ACD. Register the PBX url for PBX APIs that Zoho uses for click to dial, answer call, end call etc. Intercom. Don't intercom extensions that have a call going on. This is avoiding a problem with Cisco phones that would ignore the header and put the current call on hold. SIP Trunks. Added Clearly.
67.0.6

Added Teams incoming call formatting (removing + or +CC if present) in order to find a local account even if the call comes from a non-mapped Teams extension. HTek. Added HTek UC926U, UC923U and UC924U. Fixed Htek expansion pad P values and presentation. Corrected number of expansion modules supported by different models. Select the correct account 0 for the buttons when default. CDR. Prevent extra incomplete CDR sending in case the call involves attended transfer, because the last cdr has the full story anyway, including the attended transfer. Agent login/logout record was broken. IVR language. Use the extension IVR language for transcription not the web language. Service Flags. Trigger srvflags_changed on manual change of service flag.
67.0.9
Auto Attendant. Fixed attendant welcome message repeat issue. Also give more time (10 seconds) for entering an option or dialing extension in AA. Call Updates. When there are many calls, the PBX would send a lot of updates to the front end. This caused a lot of load to the server and also to the client. The new version reduces the number of updates.
