Dialing & Receiving Calls

Making an Outbound Call​

From the App​

  • You can use the app dialer to make calls
  • When you make a call, the screen will transition to your phone dialer

From the Phone Dialer​

  • You can simply dial the number from your phone dialer and select the Vodia Phone 2 account to call out
  • Your app could be closed and the phone dialer will open the app to dial out

Receiving Calls​

When App is Open​

  • It will directly ring your app and you can pick up the call

When App is Closed but Screen is On/Unlocked​

  • Your app will register against Vodia's push server and you will receive a push notification
  • You will see a popup notification
  • You click on the popup notification and then it will start ringing your app and you can answer the call

When App is Closed and Screen is Off/Locked​

  • Your app will register against Vodia's push server and you will receive a push notification
  • You will get a full screen call notification same as you receive any other mobile call and you can answer then
