📄️ SAML Login
Vodia PBX allows for SAML integration, which is widely used among enterprise organizations and offers a secure means of accessing the PBX. For this example, we will use Auth0 as the identity provider.
📄️ Keycloak
Vodia PBX's integration with Keycloak offers enterprise-grade identity and access management. This allows for secure single sign-on, but requires that Keycloak user emails are created to match the corresponding extension email addresses on the PBX.
📄️ Login with Google
Users and administrators except the super administrator can login with their Google account. This works if the Google email account is known by the PBX. The administrator login is available starting with version 65.
📄️ Third Party Login
With third party login, you can use the admin credentials to obtain a session id for a particular domain or user and use that id to login into that domain or user of the PBX from another webpage (URL) other than the PBX. That is very useful when you want to access a domain or user of the PBX through links from another site without having to enter the login credentials. The session id's can be obtained by the server from the PBX, and passed on to the front end of the server for authentication by the PBX.
📄️ Second Factor Management
Passkeys are the best way to keep login information secure. However, while passwords are still widely used, second factors help to significantly reduce the risk of unauthenticated access. As a reminder, the main problem with passwords is that they are in many cases chosen by humans, and they are easy to guess. In order to improve the strength of passwords, additional factors are widely used.
